The journey starts in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, where you’ll be captivated by its rich cultural heritage, bustling streets, and iconic temples and monasteries like Pashupatinath temple and Boudhanath stupa. From Kathmandu, we’ll travel to Chitwan, where you’ll immerse yourself in the region’s unique wildlife and natural beauty. The journey then takes us to Pokhara, known for its stunning mountain views and tranquil lakes.
The final leg of our journey includes visiting Bhaktapur, also known as the “City of Devotees”. Explore Nepal’s captivating culture beautifully preserved in the temples and structures in Bhaktapur. Then, we’ll proceed to Dhulikhel, a historic town known for its stunning views of the Himalayas. The trip concludes in Kathmandu, leaving you with memories to last a lifetime of Nepal’s rich culture and natural beauty.

Arrive at Kathmandu International Airport (Flight details to be advised)
Meet and assist on arrival and transfer to Dwarika’s Hotel.
You will visit Hanuman Dhoka – the historic seat of royalty, Kumari Temple – the residence of the Living Goddess and Kasthamandap (1596AD); Machhendranath Temple, and the Pagoda Temple.
Kathmandu is a major travel and tourism hub and is the departure point for treks into the Himalayas, including Mount Everest and Annapurna. Besides its proximity to these world-class hiking trails, the city also features many charms, including an exquisite setting amidst snow-covered mountain peaks, friendly locals, several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and a series of ornate stone temples dating back hundreds of years. Don’t miss visiting the sacred Boudhanath Stupa, the ancient tree-swathed site of Swayambhunath, or Kathmandu Durbar Square with its 12th-century temples.

Transfer to Kathmandu Airport to board Yeti Airlines Mountain flight (Flight details and timings to be confirmed locally – flight operations would be subject to weather conditions)

One of the must-see landmarks of Nepal is the highest peak in the world –Mount Everest.

No awe-stricken silence can match the experience of going on a mountain flight to encounter the tallest mountains on this Earth. The mountain flight offers a panoramic view of the Himalayas in just one hour. Even those visitors who like the rigours of a trek still don’t miss the opportunity to ‘conquer’ the mountains in one fell swoop. This one-hour flight takes you to the Eastern Himalayan Ranges of Nepal, some of the highest peaks in the world, including Mt. Everest. The flight is a different feeling as one comes face-to-face with the world’s tallest and most enigmatic mountains.

Return to the hotel for breakfast.

Proceed for a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, including a visit to Swayambunath Stupa, Patan, and Durbar Square.

Like Nepal’s other Durbar Squares, it contains a royal palace (a ‘durbar’) and many temples built in a traditional Newar pagoda style.

Evening visit Patan

This ancient city, founded in the 3rd century, is typically Nepalese and is famous as the city of arts. Visit Durbar Square, Hiranya Varna Mahavira, Krishna Mandir, Min Nath Temple, the Ashoka Stupa, and the Tibetan Refugee camp where handicrafts are manufactured.

Visit Boudhanath and Pashupatinath

Boudhanath Stupa – One of the oldest and the biggest Buddhist monuments ever built in Nepal, Boudhanath is one of the holiest structures imposing a height of 36 metres with three massive level Mandala style platforms. It is surrounded by colourful buildings housing families creating a friendly enclosure. The Stupa is visited yearly by tens of thousands of pilgrims from all over the world.

Pashupatinath Temple – Pashupatinath Temple dating back to 400 A.D., is one of the oldest Hindu Temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated amidst a lush green natural setting on the banks of the sacred Bagmati, the temple is built in Pagoda Style with a gilded roof and richly carved silver doors.

On arrival, transfer by road to Chitwan (approximately 30 minutes drive) and check in at Taj Meghauli Serai.

It is 932 sq kms of Sal forest and rolling grasslands which support a unique variety and abundance of wildlife. Nestled in the Rapti valley, Chitwan shelters an incredible concentration of creatures, such as Wild Boars, Sambars, Leopards, etc. The river banks are also home to different types of crocodiles. Chitwan is famous for the Royal Bengal Tiger and the one-horned Rhinoceros.

Transfer to Bharatpur Airport (approximately 45 minutes drive) to board Yeti Airlines flight

Flight YT 632 for Bharatpur – Pokhara (1130 / 1150)

On arrival, a sightseeing tour of Pokhara, including a visit to Bindabasini Temple and Devi’s Fall, awaits you, followed by a visit to Pokhara Old Bazaar.

Bindabasini Temple is of great religious importance to Hindus living in the Pokhara region. It is a vital hub of religious fervour. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga, Pokhara’s chosen guardian deity. The Hindu festival of Dashain sees large numbers of believers coming to offer sacrifices at Binhyabasini Mandir. Indeed, there is little space for tourists during the festival of Dashain.

Devi’s Falls, locally known as Patale Chhango (or Hell’s Fall), Devi’s fall is an amazing waterfall lying about 2 km southwest of Pokhara airport on the highway to Tansen. It was named after Devi, a Swiss lady swept away when the floodgates were accidentally opened, never to be seen again.

Pokhara Old Bazaar, a traditional bazaar, is as bright and colourful as its ethnically diverse traders. Located around 4 km from the Lakeside, it offers pleasant shade and is strewn with shops selling everything from edibles and cloth to cosmetics and gold!

Enjoy a brief boat ride on Phewa Lake

Spend a quiet time boating in the ultimate lake where the reflections of Mount Annapurna and Macchapuchare range fall. You will also see a variety of fish while boating. An island temple is located in the middle of the lake. Thick forests lie on the adjoining southern slopes of the lake. It’s hard to escape the draw of Phewa Lake, and any visitor with even a few spare minutes should endeavour to take a boat out on the water to experience the wonderful views of the reflected mountains fully.

Transfer and check in at Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge.

Located on a ridge half an hour outside Pokhara, the lodge is an ideal base for guests to relax in a rural mountain setting, away from the bustle of Nepal’s cities.

On arrival, transfer by road to Dhulikhel en route and visit Bhaktapur (approximately 02 hours drive, including stops).

Bhaktapur or Bhadgaon, literally meaning ‘the City of Devotees’, is the smallest city in the Kathmandu valley. Its Main Square, or ‘Layaku’ is famous for the 15th-century Palace of 55 Carved Windows with the Golden Gate as a royal entrance. In front of the palace building are innumerable temples and architectural showpieces, including the Lion Gate, the statue of King Bhupatindra Malla mounted on a giant stone pillar, and the stone temple of Vatsala Devi, another beautiful example of Shikhara-style architecture. There is a bronze bell on the temple terrace, also known as the Bell of Barking Dogs.
